What happens inside our brain?
The most important question for psychologists is why do people act in a certain way? What factors define their behavior? Last century was the most progressive in terms of human behavioral studies, but with the progress comes another question—in what way can we be influenced? There are some very interesting psychological experiments conducted to understand human thoughts and behavior. Some of them are very common in everyday life, but we do not notice the effects. A bright example is a theory of cognitive dissonance—people often try to overcome the disappointment. For example, when people have to choose between different things, they always assure themselves that their choice is the right one.
